Energetic Exploration of the Application of Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) - CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. Is Invited to Attend the Inaugural Meeting of CSTM/FC03/TC22

On June 28, the Inaugural Meeting & First Working Meeting of CSTM/FC03/TC22 was successfully convened in Beijing. As an invited guest of the event, Huang Guoping, deputy general manager of CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhenjiang Company”) was appointed as a member of CSTM/FC03/TC22.

In the meantime of the establishment of CSTM/FC03, a platform for exchanges among experts in PV, building material and architectural engineering has been built to facilitate the development of market-recognized and high-quality Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) standards. Simultaneously, leveraging the formulation and revision, BIPV standards will gradually fashion a new standard system, which coordinates the criteria prevalent in the world, China, the industry, organizations and enterprises to tremendously support the standardized development of China’s BIPV industry.

As the Technical Code for Application of Solar Photovoltaic System of Civil Buildings stipulates, the interlayer of the double-glazed solar PV module applied to curtain walls, daylighting roofs, sunshades and guard bars is PVB (polyvinyl butyral). Having been utilized for over 80 years, the PVB film boasting the excellent shock resistance, load capacity and acid & alkali resistance is used in fields of architecture and PV.

As the sole enterprise in the sector insisting on the mass production of PVB double-glazed solar PV module, Zhenjiang Company has been persistent in the core value of “customer as the center, value as the base”, and made the commitment to provide customers with better products. The PVB double-glazed solar PV module researched, developed and manufactured by Zhenjiang Company is competitive due to its trustworthier weather resistance, better mechanical property, longer service life, weaker attenuation and higher generating efficiency. Moreover, with the purpose of further improving the module transfer efficiency, Zhenjiang Company has devoted itself to researching and developing the porcelain white PVB film of high transparency, whereby the transfer efficiency has been elevated to 17.3% from 15.3%. By virtue of the high-quality product performance and industrial influence, the double-glazed solar PV module of Zhenjiang Company has successively obtained the Certificate of New High-Tech Product, National Key New Product Certificate, State Science and Technology Award and other heavyweight honors.
